A Spanish Love Affair.. Let the Sparks Fly

I was reunited with my lover today. His name is Nutella.. he's dark, handsome and oh so yummy. My roommate, Colleen, and I hit up Mercadona this evening to get some supplies for San Jose tomorrow because we didn't think "mom" was going to be able to send any food with us. We were wrong. WAY wrong.. Momma came into the living room with TWO (2) bocadillas (huge sub sandwiches) one (right now) is just bread and she send some GOOD meat with us.. and the other is canned ham.. so I guess it's literally "Spam" jaja. Spanish ham.. spam. Get it? One thing that bothers me about my "mom" is that she doesn't refridgerate stuff... it's always like playing Russian Roulette... never know if this will be the time you get food poisoning. I like to live my life on the edge so it's fine with me.

Today I participated in my very first "siesta"... it was pretty nice... I felt pretty useless, but it was good nonetheless. I also got my school schedule today... it's pretty not good...but I'm excited to start so I don't mind it much. It is as follows:

lunes/miercoles (mon/wed)

8:30-10:30-- Naciones de gramatica espanola

12:30-14:30--Produccion oral y escrita

16:00-18:00--Gegrafia de Espana

martes/jueves (tues/thurs)

8:30-10:30--Historia de arte

16:00-18:00--Civilizacion y Cultura Espanolas.

Bleh.

The plug I sit next to sparks (a lot) every time I put my converter in it. One of theses days it's going to catch the tablecloth on fire, I'm gunna have to make a LONG distance phone call to Wes Bailey, and it's going to mess up the tablecloth and possibly the room and then Maria Carmen is gunna be pppiiiiissssssssed! Whatevs. Like I said.. I live on the edge.
Dos besos,
COOR-KNEE
